Job Description
Equipment Operator - Asphalt Prep job description: Responsible for safe operation of grading equipment on job sites, manual labor, traffic control, communication with customers/public, and responding to inquiries/problem solving. Safety is a top priority at MCC, Inc. On-the-job training is provided.
Requirements
- Experience or knowledge in site preparation, excavation, or asphalt paving industry
- Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Reasoning Skills (problem solving and troubleshooting skills)
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to assess and report various hazards and work safely to prevent accidents and injuries
- Class A CDL with tanker endorsement preferred
- Mechanical capabilities as preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, with an understanding of basic math preferred
