Job Description
The Preconstruction Director leads McCarthy's team efforts to provide preconstruction services to clients, managing projects from initial bidding to construction. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, with experience in estimating, design management, and field management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering
- 10-15 years of applicable estimating, design management, and/or field management experience
- Proven experience managing preconstruction for large-scale projects
- In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices
- Experience dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors, and/or self-perform work
- Strong communication and presentation skills
