Senior Project Engineer (Eng)

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for supporting project engineering management activities for SURF projects, using best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the Project Engineering discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the Project Engineering discipline.

Requirements

• Coordinate and review inputs from various Engineering disciplines, functional departments, and out-house contractors
• Coordinate and ensure the generation of deliverables, reports, and procedures required for the Engineering portion of a project
• Use discipline expertise and project experience to solve complex problems
• Manage own time to meet objectives; forecast and plan resource requirements
• Act as a liaison between the Customer and Project Engineering Manager and Engineering Team, including third-party agencies and subcontractors
• Participate in HAZAN, HAZID, HAZOP, and other safety I operability/reliability studies and workshops, as necessary
• Facilitate project Discipline Lead Engineers' and Designers' reviews of previous projects' lessons learned
