Job Description
McGill St Laurent is looking for an Analyst Trade Strategy & Risk to support the development and improvement of derivatives trading strategies, conduct market analysis, and run quantitative research. The role involves building models, producing risk metrics, and creating dashboards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mathematics, financial engineering, or related field, and proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel.
Requirements
- University degree in mathematics, financial engineering, data science, statistics, quantitative economics, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel
- Proven experience with data cleaning, analysis, and time-series handling and statistical modelling
- Solid understanding of financial modelling, forecasting, optimization, and derivatives markets
- Bilingual French/English (spoken and written)
- Interest in the carbon market
