As part of the evolution and optimization of its financial processes, GSL is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and solution-driven Accounting Technician who wishes to play an active role in improving the efficiency and modernization of the company’s accounting operations.

Requirements

• Record customer and supplier invoices in the accounting system in compliance with established deadlines
• Perform customer billing, taking into account applicable deductions in accordance with contractual specifications
• Ensure the receipt and recording of customer payments
• Process supplier payments within prescribed timelines
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Carry out collections on overdue accounts and ensure proper follow-up
• Perform monthly reconciliations (including government authorities) and complete required remittances
• Participate in monthly inventory reconciliation and follow-up
• Open customer accounts and manage credit limits
• Process foreign exchange (FX) hedging transactions
• Actively participate in the NetSuite system transition and optimization project
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to the optimization and continuous improvement of accounting processes
