Assistant Professor (Clinical), Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine (C1- 251106)

The McGill University Department of Medicine invites applications for a full-time position as a member of the Contract Academic Staff at the rank of Assistant Professor (Clinical). The position is for a Clinician-Scientist at the Jewish General Hospital (JGH) in the Division of General Internal Medicine.

Requirements

• Hold an MD degree and be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent) in General Internal Medicine
• Be eligible for licensure in Quebec
• Hold, or be eligible for, certification by the Collège des médecins du Québec
• Have acquired fellowship training in Thrombosis Medicine
• Have graduate research training (e.g., MSc, PhD, or equivalent)
• Have a proven track record of research productivity (publications, grants) or strong potential to develop one
• Bilingual language skills (French and English) are preferred, or a commitment to acquire these language skills at the level needed to practice medicine in Quebec
