Assistant Professor (Clinical), Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Movement Disorders (C3-251031)

The McGill University Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery invites applications for a full-time position as member of the Contract Academic Staff at the rank of Assistant Professor (Clinical). The successful candidate will be appointed to clinical practice at the Jewish General Hospital and will contribute to a strong interdisciplinary clinical and/or clinical research program in movement disorders at McGill University.

Requirements

• Hold an MD, and hold or be eligible for, licensure as a neurologist in the province of Quebec;
• Have established specialized expertise in the diagnosis and management of movement disorders;
• Have at least one year of fellowship training at a recognized training program;
• Have five years of post-fellowship clinical practice with a movement disorder focus;
• Have applicable medical education skills and commit to the development of a well-defined clinical/clinical-research program;
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in all areas;
• Bilingual language skills (French and English) are preferred, or a commitment to acquire the necessary language skills to practice medicine in Quebec.
