Research Assistant 1

The Research Assistant will work under the supervision of Dr. Brown at McGill University, assisting with ethics submissions, participant recruitment, and logistics coordination, as well as designing and conducting focus group sessions and semi-structured interviews.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program at a Quebec University in Sociology, Science Technology and Society, Political Science, Education, or a related discipline.
• Experience with qualitative research methods including interviews, focus groups, and survey design.
• Interest in science policy, equity in academia, and research infrastructure.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a research setting.
• Excellent writing, oral and communication skills in English AND French
