This role involves designing, optimizing, and improving logistics and distribution systems to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels across the supply chain. The position requires data-driven analysis, process engineering, and supply chain modeling skills.
Requirements
- Develop and maintain supply chain network models.
- Evaluate tradeoffs between cost, service, and inventory.
- Analyze transportation modes, routing, and carrier performance.
- Design and evaluate strategies for last-mile delivery, cross-docking, and intermodal optimization.
- Support layout design, slotting analysis, and labor modeling.
- Develop models to simulate shipment flows, demand variability, and capacity utilization.
- Partner with operations, IT, procurement, and finance to translate modeling insights into actionable business plans.
