Job Description
The Meadowlands YMCA has a fast growing swim team that swims year round. The assistant coach will provide direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for those enrolled in our team.
Requirements
- Conducts practices on a regular basis for swimmers ranging from beginner to senior levels and attends both regular season and championship meets.
- Assist Head Coach in planning training and swim meet schedule, executing entries, facilitating running tryouts and hosted meets.
- Work with coaching staff to develop and run training to develop, retain, and bring out the potential of all levels of swimmers.
- Communicates with Aquatic Director, swim team, coaches, parents, volunteers, and community to inform of practices, meets, and other swimming related events.
- Assist in YMCA fundraising activities and special events as requested
