Job Description
MEC is a rapidly growing metal fabricator seeking a highly reliable Laser Operator for a second shift. Requirements
- Reads job orders to determine machine programming
- Sets up machine parameters and power settings
- Calls up part numbers from computer to program machine
- Puts steel into machine to cut part
- Performs part verifications
- Performs routine machine maintenance
- Performs simple laser programming
- Troubleshoots problems
- Assist Steel Shed Coordinator
- Cross train other employees
