Job Description
Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC is seeking an experienced Winder to join their Repairs Division. The role involves repairing generator fields, stators, and other electrical generating equipment. Responsibilities include removing and installing retaining rings, field coils, and replacing bar and coil parts, as well as performing high voltage bushing and stancing. The company emphasizes a collaborative and innovative culture.
Requirements
- Remove and install retaining rings with induction heating
- Remove, clean, and install field coils
- Rewedge the Generator Stator
- Repair the End Windings
- Stator bar replacement
- Clean, red-eye, and paint
- High Voltage Bushing and Standoff Bushing replacement
- Core Iron repair/replacement
- Installation of 2-piece clips
- Ability to quickly grasp or manipulate objects
