Marine Mechanic

An Australian-owned engineering company is seeking two experienced Marine Mechanics to support the launch of a critical service hub in Papeete, Tahiti. The successful candidate will conduct full rebuilds and recommissioning of two catamarans, deliver mechanical servicing for luxury and commercial vessels, and travel to different marinas and moorings to complete on-site repairs.

Requirements

• Marine Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, or Heavy Equipment Technician with marine crossover
• At least 5 years post-trade experience with strong mechanical diagnostics
• Able to work autonomously and manage rebuild projects end-to-end
• Effective communicator with patience and cultural awareness
• French-speaking skills highly desirable
