Job Description
Monks is seeking an Accountant to join their Corporate team, a key part of the Finance team. This full-time position involves managing the day-to-day financial operations, month-end accounting, and compliance, providing a collaborative and results-driven work environment. The role focuses on financial analysis and auditing within a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Maintain the General Ledger Accounts
- Manage Fixed Asset/Prepayment/Expense Accrual schedules
- Manage Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Reconcile COGS accrual and bills on a monthly basis
- Review and analyze the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts
- Prepare and lodgement of payroll tax and VAT
- Liaise with tax advisory
- Assist with statutory tax lodgement
- Assist with the Global and local statutory audit
- Work with the external bookkeepers/vendors
