Solutions Architect ( Snowflake)

Monks is seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to design, develop, and maintain data solutions within Snowflake. The role involves translating business requirements into technical specifications, implementing features, and ensuring data security and governance. A strong understanding of data modeling and Snowflake architecture is crucial.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in data architecture, modeling, and ETL development.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake's architecture, data modeling, internals, and security features.
• Proficient in SQL and complex Snowflake SQL queries.
• Deep understanding of advanced data modeling techniques.
• Expertise in Snowflake concepts like Resource monitors and RBAC.
• Experience in handling semi-structured data.
• Experience in Migration processes to Snowflake from on-premises databases.
• Experience in designing and building manual or auto-ingestion data pipelines.
• Experience with DBT and data visualization tools.
• Extensive experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Knowledge of reporting/analytic tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
