Job Description
Medica is a nonprofit health plan seeking an experienced Lead IT Business Analyst/Systems Analyst to join its claims product team. The role combines business analysis with strong data analytics capabilities to support decision-making and optimize processes.
Requirements
- Collaborate with business partners and the claims product team to understand and document requirements
- Provide analytical guidance throughout the product lifecycle
- Partner with the data analytics team to perform data profiling, trend analysis, and visualization
- Translate business requirements into system requirements
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of the Healthcare Industry, business processes, and IT systems to resolve issues, automate workflows, and implement IT solutions
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Perform SQL queries and data extraction from data warehouses for analysis and validation
- Identify data quality issues and recommend improvements
- Support predictive modeling and advanced analytics initiatives in collaboration with data science teams
