Job Description
Join a passionate community of people who are changing how health care is delivered as a Health Equity Intern at Medical Home Network. The role involves supporting the Wellness West operations team in initiatives that improve the social determinants of health for Wellness West patients and/or the Wellness West workforce.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with a health care or social work related major or minor preferred, but healthcare experience may be substituted.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking skills
- Strong computer skills, particularly with the entire Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent client/customer service orientation
- Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals and professionals
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under deadlines
- Proactive, self-directed, and able to approach complex tasks independently
Benefits
- 20-25 hours a week
- Hybrid, flexible schedule: Onsite on Tuesdays; remote with flexible hours for the remainder of the week
