Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse I (New Graduate) assists at the advanced beginner level in providing individualized, goal directed nursing care to patients and families utilizing principles and practices of the nursing process.
Requirements
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
- Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in temperature extremes, work from elevated areas, and work in confined/cramped spaces.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted, exert up to 50 lbs. of force, and maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes.
