Job Description
This role is for a MedReviewer responsible for reviewing and approving policy and procedure manuals for Licensed Home Care Services Agencies (LHCSAs). It involves pre-opening surveys, correspondence with agencies, follow-up on manual corrections, and ensuring compliance with New York State Rules and Regulations. The role requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work and LCSW license (New York State)
- Two years of experience in social work preferred
- Experience in home care
- Logical reasoning and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented work skills
- Mature and professional demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Quality improvement orientation
- Flexibility to travel
- Commitment to remain in position for at least one year
