MedReview is a leading authority in payment integrity solutions specializing in DRG Validation, Cost Outlier, and Readmission reviews. They are seeking a MedReviewer to analyze inpatient claims, validate coding accuracy, and review for clinical support. This role requires compliance with coding guidelines and organizational policies.

Requirements

• Coding Certification (at least one required)
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
• Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC)
• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
• College level course in medical terminology, anatomy, and coding
• 3+ years of experience in MS-DRG and APR-DRG validation in acute care inpatient coding, auditing, or payment integrity DRG validation
• Adherence to Official Coding and Reporting guidelines and AHA Coding Clinic determinations
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and other applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional credentialed status with approved continuing education programs
• Ability to work independently and multi-task
