Job Description
Megaport is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join the Edge Services Development team, working on the platform that powers the Megaport Cloud Router and Megaport Virtual Edge products. This is a remote position based in North America, working with our distributed team across Australia and North America.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, including architecture, networking, storage, and operational best practices
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure as code principles
- Advanced Linux systems experience, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security hardening
- Problem solving mindset with the ability to debug complex distributed systems issues
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing
- 3+ years of experience working with container orchestration platforms in a production environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
