General Cleaner (K-12) Full-Time

The custodian cleans and keeps in an orderly condition areas such as classrooms, bathrooms, offices, cafeterias, common areas, gym and fitness areas, and perimeter grounds. Duties involve sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing trash; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.

Requirements

• Ability to handle heavy janitorial equipment and tools
• Ability to follow verbal direction and schedule
• Ability to work well alone, with a partner, or with a team
• Reliable and punctual with a dedicated professionalism to job and duties
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules
• Excellent time management skills and attention to details
