Job Description
The Surgical Technologist (Main Operating Room) role is a full-time position within the Main Operating Room of a hospital. The position is crucial for assisting the surgeon with surgery, including draping, instrument utilization, and providing patient care. Previous surgical technologist experience or completion of a Surgical Technologist program is required. Opportunities for career advancement within the surgical field are available.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist program and/or previous surgical technologist experience.
- Maintains current CPR certification.
- Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of basic principles of sterile technique and sterilization procedures.
- Ability to pass mandatory in-services.
- CPR certification.
