Job Description
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer who obsesses over product quality and thrives in open-source. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies for Jan, a Open Intelligence platform.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Engineer or in a similar technical role
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium, etc.
- Understanding of LLM behavior, common failure modes, and conversational/agentic AI testing
- Experience with GitHub Issues, CI/CD workflows, and modern development toolchains
- Outstanding written communication for both technical documentation and community interaction
