Job Description
MHA promotes mental health and wellness for individuals facing challenges with mental illness and addiction recovery. They increase community awareness and enhance mental well-being through advocacy, education, prevention, treatment, and services. Co-Response delivers crisis response in collaboration with local police departments in Perth Amboy.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree and a License in Social Work or Counseling (LPC/LCSW Preferred, LAC or LSW will be considered)
- Valid NJ driver’s license and good driving record
- Knowledge of Middlesex County resources helpful
- Bilingual preferred
- Ability to provide effective crisis response and de-escalation
