Job Description
Mercury is seeking a Data Scientist to help build a finance-focused analytics engine. The role focuses on data analysis and collaboration with product and engineering teams to improve financial workflows, including Books, Accounting, and Spend Management. The Data Scientist will drive automation, streamline processes, and provide actionable insights for customers.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in product analytics or data science
- Fluency in SQL and proficient in a statistical programming language (e.g., Python)
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests, and applying causal inference methods
- Comfort building data pipelines and reporting
- Experience applying ML/GenAI to product problems
