The HR Officer is responsible for the full cycle of the selection process to the hiring of new Mercy Corps Team members, ensuring qualitative completeness of all processes against set delivery standards.
Requirements
- Qualitative completeness of all processes against set delivery standards
- Reviewing/auding the Personnel and Job Files and ensuring they are up to date
- Maintaining the HR Data Base, HCM, and Leave trackers
- Completing probationary and annual performance evaluations/reviews
- Maintaining annual holiday schedule
- Clearing terminated employees as per MC Afghanistan policies and procedures
- Orienting new staff on Mercy Corps Afghanistan systems, policies and procedures
- Executing full lifecycle talent acquisition/recruitment activities
- Maintaining a professional and personal conduct that upholds MC's humanitarian goal
- Supporting the HR team with the monthly payroll required documentations
- Maintaining work permits of team members
- Developing strategic relationships with strategic hiring sources
- Ensuring a proactive and sustainable recruitment planning system is in place
- Collaborating with other Mercy Corps departments
- Managing staff of the All programs
- Participating in the development and implementation of organization-wide goals and decisions
- Coaching and developing the capacity of the team
- Promoting accountability and providing constructive feedback
- Creating and sustaining a work environment of mutual respect
