PMHNP

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/APNP) will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management. The PMHNP/APNP will work in coordination with clinic counseling services and therapists to provide psychiatric services to adult, adolescent and child clients with behavioral health needs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Graduate of an accredited masters of nursing program.
• Meets the requirements determined by the State of Wisconsin or Illinois to perform duties defined as those of a Nurse Practitioner.
• Hold valid RN license in state of practice.
• Maintain ANCC certification as PMHNP or PMHCNS with prescriptive authority
• Hold valid APNP license in state of practice.
• Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days (Other certification per unit requirements: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP)
• Valid DEA number
