Index Production Analyst

MerQube is hiring an Index Production Analyst to maintain index operations, ensuring data quality and supporting ad hoc projects. The role involves research, analysis, and validation of financial data, as well as contributing to index management and workflow optimization.

Requirements

• Research and analyze asset prices, corporate actions, and other incoming data
• Investigate potential errors and coordinate with data vendors to correct it in a timely manner
• Ensure corporate actions are applied to the index based on the index specific rules
• Manage processes for handling and validating financial data
• Perform rigorous quality checks prior to index dissemination and assist with end-of-day validations
• Contribute to the full lifecycle of index management
• Monitor and maintain index accuracy across equity and multi-asset classes
• Perform rebalance screening, represent rebalancing result to index committee and implement rebalances
• Assist in drafting and reviewing index methodologies, benchmarks, and compliance documentation
• Contribute to the design and automation of workflows to improve operational efficiency and error prevention
• Support operations and initiatives across multiple asset classes
• Provide actionable reports and analyses to stakeholders
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless cross-regional workflows and operational continuity
