About the Company
Mesabi Metallics Company LLC, an Essar Group enterprise, is developing a cutting-edge 7-million metric ton Direct-Reduction (DR) iron ore pellet and mine in Nashwauk, Minnesota. The project aims to be operational by 2026, offering DR grade pellets strategically to meet the Electric Arc Furnace market's demand, thereby enhancing supply chain security, reducing reliance on foreign imports, and supporting the decarbonization of steel production.
Job Description
Essar Group, a global conglomerate, is developing a 1.8 MTPA Direct Reduction Iron (DRI) plant in the USA. The Senior Advisor - Planning (DRI) will be responsible for developing and managing the integrated project schedule for the DRI plant, coordinating inputs from various teams to ensure timely decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. This role will identify critical paths, provide early delay warnings, and align stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in planning and scheduling for large industrial projects (preferable in DRI, steel, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors)
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project
- Strong understanding of EPC lifecycle phases and critical path methodology
- Experience in interface coordination and delay analysis
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
