Public Policy Manager, Germany, Austria, Switzerland (24 months contract)

We’re hiring a Public Policy Manager (DACH) to shape and execute Meta’s policy strategy across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, working on AI, wearables, privacy/data protection, competition, and technology regulation more broadly.

Requirements

• Develop and execute policy and regulatory strategies
• Monitor policy developments and legislation affecting Meta in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
• Represent Meta in meetings with government officials and elected members of parliament, regulatory authorities, media and public forums to advance our policy position
• Draft and align policy positions together with other teams at Meta
• Help build coalitions with other organizations such as trade organizations, associations and companies to advance policy goals of Meta
• Deliver external communications (speeches, panels, consultations) and support proactive engagement plans
• Advise Meta teams on public policy matters to guide development of products, services and policies
• Support Team colleagues e.g. with briefings and event organization
