Job Description
MetaCompliance is shaping the future of Human Risk Management. We're looking for a Lead SQL DBA to take ownership of our Azure SQL estate and drive the next phase of our data platform's evolution.
Requirements
- Lead the design and operation of secure, resilient Azure SQL environments
- Define the long-term roadmap for database reliability, scalability, and performance
- Oversee database security posture
- Enhance and validate disaster recovery processes
- Drive automation and standardisation across database deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes
- Monitor and optimise database performance, capacity, and cost efficiency
- Identify, tune, and optimise database queries, indexes, and stored procedures
- Lead database incident response
- Define and implement data lifecycle policies
- Act as a mentor and advocate for SQL excellence
- Line-manage, coach, and develop other DBAs
