Job Description
The Operational Buyer role is responsible for the successful relationship and front-to-back management of engineered equipment suppliers, offsite repair shops, rental companies, and site services. This includes creation of supplier records, processing purchase orders, and resolving issues. The role requires a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of procurement experience and familiarity with ERP systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration (preferred)
- Procurement certification (CIPS, ISM, etc.) preferred
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Maximo preferred)
- Knowledge of administrative processes (for the role)
- Analytical and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. periodically
