Job Description
The Reliability Engineer is responsible for providing plant equipment maintenance strategies, systems, and engineering advice to the Maintenance Department. This role involves ensuring equipment availability, reliability, and complying with legislation, alongside troubleshooting, implementing maintenance programs, and providing expert guidance on turnarounds. The engineer works collaboratively with Operations and leadership, ensuring equipment performance and contributing to long-term maintenance strategy development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant discipline
- 3 years experience with piping and large static equipment
- 3 years Maintenance/Reliability Engineering experience
- Experience with development and implementation of Maintenance Equipment Strategies
- Experience with Predictive and Preventative Maintenance Programs
- Basic AutoCAD or Fusion/Inventor proficiency
- Knowledge of computer software like MS Excel, MS Word, and Maximo
- Experience in internal consulting and presentations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
