Job Description
The Chair & Head of Nursing will lead Methodist University’s growing nursing programs, providing vision and leadership in developing all nursing program offerings, recruiting and supervising faculty, and overseeing curriculum, accreditation, and compliance.
Requirements
- Earned doctoral degree (e.g., DNP, PhD) in Nursing or related discipline
- Current, unencumbered RN licensure in North Carolina and eligibility for NC BON program leadership oversight
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in nursing education leadership (e.g., curriculum development, accreditation management, and/or chair/director role)
- Evidence of collaborative leadership and teaching excellence
