Metromont LLC is seeking a Construction Engineer to lead internal construction projects from inception through completion. The position is responsible for defining scope, establishing timelines, monitoring safety and progress, and communicating with all involved parties.
Requirements
- Point of contact and leader for capital projects and internal construction projects
- Define scope, establish timelines, monitor safety and progress, and communicate with all involved parties
- Obtain 2-3 bids, qualify bidders, and ensure vendors are approved
- Effectively work with contractors and vendors to ensure smooth project flow
- Able to read drawings with regards to elevations, drainage, and storm water flows
- Monitor environmental devices and assist with environmental permitting
- Manage and monitor assets – rolling stock, production equipment, office facilities
- Assist with maintenance and repairs at all Metromont locations
- Participate in writing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assist with creation of Capital Asset Expenditures (CAEs)
- Prepare capital expenditure requests
- Capable to learn and become an expert in the entire Batch Plant Process
- Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations
