Job Description
Metropolis is a cutting-edge artificial intelligence company focused on frictionless parking experiences using computer vision technology. They are seeking a Controller to lead the company's accounting function, setting strategy, governance, and IPO readiness. The Controller will be responsible for building world-class standards, ensuring compliance, and leading transformation projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 15+ years progressive accounting/controllership experience
- 5+ years at a senior leadership role
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (GAAP/IFRS) and consolidation experience
- Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation
- Deep experience in IPO/public company processes, SOX, and SEC reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and building from ground up
