Job Description
The Certified Peer Counselor provides guidance, mentoring, and support to tenants with mental illness to enhance access to and retention in permanent supported housing, using lived experience to offer peer support and promote housing stability and safety.
Requirements
- Certified Peer Counselor required
- Agency Associated Counselor credential must be obtained within 90 days
- Valid/current Washington State driver’s license and reliable personal transportation and insurance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and complete concise reporting
