Metropolitan Family Services is seeking a Student Intern to support its Human Resources Team at its Headquarters office. The internship is an unpaid position that requires the student to be enrolled in a college/university and internship hours are required for graduation or completion of a course.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or Master's degree student majoring in applied psychology or human resources.
- Knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be willing to learn the primary functions of a Human Resources Department
- Effective time management skills and the ability to complete given tasks
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Be proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to use good judgment, work well under pressure, adapt to change, and work collaboratively with individuals from all culturally diverse backgrounds
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, team and goal-oriented individual with the ability to drive results.
