Assistant Electrical Engineer

Under immediate supervision, performs entry level electrical engineering work in electrical power and lighting systems design; construction inspection and scheduling review; and preparation of electrical estimates. Performs field inspections of electrical installations or assists in supervision of electrical equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• Graduation from a four-year accredited college or university majoring in electrical engineering
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois or another state
• Assessment of academic qualifications by the Center for Professional Engineering Education Services (CPEES) or presentation of an undergraduate degree from a school recognized by the Washington Accord
