Job Description
The Finance Department of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago is seeking an intern to gain valuable experience in Accounts Payable, Billing or Payroll, and assist in processing financial transactions and receipts.
Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Ability to compile, analyze and summarize financial information
- Proficiency planning and organize work in an efficient manner
- Familiarity with standard office equipment such as a computer and printer
- Experience using business operating software (e.g., SAP, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
