Job Description
MetroSys is seeking a Cloud Engineer for Azure-focused cloud operations and infrastructure modernization. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure, collaborating with development and operations teams. This is a fully remote position with occasional collaboration across multiple time zones.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related role.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure services (Azure AD, Azure Networking, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Storage, Virtual Machines, App Services, Functions, etc.).
- Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, VMware, etc.).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, or similar).
- Solid background in networking, security, and identity management in the cloud.
- Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
