Job Description
MGE Underground is a growing utility infrastructure contractor seeking a Junior Estimator to prepare smaller scope lump sum bids and develop proposals and estimates. The role involves working independently and collaborating with the Estimating Team on larger-scale bids.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in City, County, and municipality requirements
- Knowledgeable with reading blueprints, plans, specs, contracts, quotes, purchase orders, etc.
- Strong computer aptitude and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Understanding of CPM scheduling via MS Project
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean record
