Staff Engineer, Systems HPC

Micron Technology is seeking a Staff Engineer, Systems HPC to join their team. The role involves implementing new storage solutions and maintaining existing platforms. The successful candidate will have experience managing storage solutions, strong Linux expertise, and knowledge of advanced storage technologies and tools.

Requirements

• Lead and support production server and storage environments across Micron’s global infrastructure.
• Coordinate the management of enterprise SAN, NAS, and cloud storage systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Implement new storage solutions and maintain existing platforms, including NFS/CIFS shares.
• Oversee backup and archiving systems to safeguard critical business data.
• Act as a point of contact for complex global storage issues and resolving when a customer concern arises.
• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to ensure seamless data availability and high-performance storage.
• Contribute to forecasting and enhancing storage resource allocation.
• Work with advanced storage technologies and tools to maintain efficiency and reliability.
