Job Description
Midsouth Steel is seeking experienced Field Welders for on-site projects in the Charlotte, NC area. The role involves assembling steel structures, working with power tools and welding equipment, and ensuring safety and fall protection.
Requirements
- OSHA 10 required
- OSHA 30 preferred
- Certifications in welding, forklift, scissor lift, and rigging
- Experience working with power tools and welding equipment
- Proficiency in handling iron and steel components
- Knowledge of fall protection and safety measures
- Skills in rigging and lifting steel components
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work at heights
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to technical drawings
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
