Job Description
The Laboratory Supervisor provides day-to-day support for clinical laboratory operations under the direction of the Laboratory Manager. This position assists with coordinating staff scheduling, monitoring workflow, monitoring inventory, ensuring quality control procedures are followed, and supporting regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, or Biology
- American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification or equivalent
- Current Licensure in the State of Washington
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the clinical laboratory of an acute care hospital (in non-waived testing)
- Minimum of one (1) year experience with Laboratory informatics
- Minimum of one (1) year experience with Laboratory inventory management
