Job Description
The RN will provide comprehensive patient care, assess and evaluate patient outcomes, and implement the plan of care. The RN will also demonstrate effective communication and professionalism.
Requirements
- An associate's degree (ADN) or diploma in nursing is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is preferred.
- At least six (6) months nursing experience. Or, for nurses with less than six (6) months experience in the acute care setting may be placed in the Nurse Residency Program
- Licensure: Current State of Texas License as a Registered Nurse
- Required Certifications: Current CPR (American Heart Association)
- Preferred Certifications: Area of specialty within 2 years of employment (Certified MedSurg, or Orthapedic Nurse). Early Acute Stroke recognition and treatment preferred.
