Job Description
The RT(R) is required to function within the parameters of the legal scope of practice and in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations, and the employing institution's policies and procedures. This role emphasizes patient safety, competence, and professional accountability. The radiologic technologist is responsible for quality of care and adapting to the changing needs of the healthcare setting.
Requirements
- Current State of Texas License as a Radiology Technologist
- ARRT registered or eligible
- RT(R) to obtain or actively pursue the CV registry while employed, preferred
- 2 years of experience as a Special Procedures Technologist working in the Cath Lab, preferred
