Job Description
The Technician is responsible for various administrative and clinical functions, including obtaining patient histories, performing preliminary and ancillary testing, and assisting doctors with exams. They ensure the practice's quality standards are met and provide a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Prepare patients for eye examinations
- Perform preliminary and doctor-requested tests
- Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures
- Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow
- Prepare exam room and maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Provide a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
