Mighty Fine Apps is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join their team and build the infrastructure powering their Live Transcribe service. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems, specializing in Typescript and Node.js. The project involves expanding existing libraries and enhancing user experience, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring code quality and innovation. The position is flexible, offering a hybrid work format.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong Typescript and data modeling skills
- Experience with Node.js, RESTful API design, and websockets
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with cloud-based deployment and scaling (AWS)
